Allen Design in 2009
New years are times to reflect and look ahead. The past year held plenty of success and brought new directions for Allen Design.
In addition to designing and making several excellent websites, Allen Design completed its first large-scale web development project; the MyHouseInParadise Property Manager. Five skilled individuals worked with a project manager on concepts, design, programming, testing, deployment and administration.
Many of our ongoing projects received considerable technology upgrades. Vieques Travel megasite, The Vieques Guide, had its 120+ business directory converted into a database and 300+ pages organized with a web template system. Behind the scenes, a unique "Vacation Configurator" was created to arrange vacation packages and reservations.
Software development will be the major focus of 2009. Allen Design has already produced a web catalog with e-commerce package, a simple-to-use website manager, a photo gallery and a web comment board.
